Ramier is our Lead Videographer and an all-around beast — tackling production challenges, always looking good with a big smile in front of or behind the camera, and giving us his big dawg* perspective when it comes to riding electric scooters.
Ramier has been with ESG since late 2019, when it was just he and Chuck working out of Chuck’s house. He’s got charm, talent and swag, he sings and quotes movies while he works, and always lifts the team up. He manages all video production for the Youtube channel, and always provides a fresh outlook on the Liveshow.
Ramier has over a decade of experience in videography, including direction and production of corporate videos, music videos, commercials, and, of course, scooter reviews.
Check him out on the weekly ESG Liveshow. Thanks for helping build ESG’s foundation, Ramier!
*So what are big dawgs and why do they matter?
Big Dawgs
We dubbed larger riders as big dawgs, and Ramier is alpha in the electric scooter world. Although many performance scooters have a max payload of around 220 lbs, not all scooters are ideal for someone with a larger build.
For example, a scooter with short deck-to-handlebar height and a smaller deck is not generally going to be as comfortable for larger riders as a scooter that has a longer stem and an expansive deck.
Suspension is also an important factor for riders over 200 lbs, as the heavier weight on the scooter means there’s more vertical travel whenever you’re hitting bumps or falling into potholes.

Ramier is 75 in tall and weighs around 235 lbs. He tests all the scooters at Electric Scooter Guide that can accommodate his big dawg size, and let’s us know if it’s comfortable for his weight and height. He also checks to see if there’s enough standing room and if the suspension cushions the ride.
